US President Joe Biden has signed an executive order on the use and protection of artificial intelligence (AI). He said that the government should finish all discussions with the organizations that are working with such artificial intelligence.

As the president's chief of staff, Jeff Giants said, "the president said at one point that we cannot proceed with the normal government speed at all." That is, Jeff indicated that Biden wanted a quick resolution. The order, signed by Biden, says that companies that work with artificial intelligence or will in the future, must create certain rules to protect the interests of consumers.

In America, the president signing an executive order means that the country's lawmakers have not yet made any policy on the matter. In this case, President Biden is considered to be one step ahead of the American Congress. The president said he invoked the Defense Production Act in signing the order. Where it is said, the President of the United States can give instructions to private organizations regarding their rules of procedure in some exceptional cases.
